The Magnolia Cottage is a straight 32 by 70 foot rectangle, which is what makes it fit a narrow beach lot, and inside that rectangle it gives you a covered front porch, a vaulted living room with a big kitchen island, and a primary suite you would expect in a larger house.
Under the living floor, a 1,515 square foot drive-under garage takes two cars, and a pull-through or rear entry takes a third, or the golf cart and the beach trailer. Two more bedrooms and a half bath fill out the plan, with the primary suite at its own end for a little separation.
A covered front porch: the place to sit in the evening and the first thing the house shows the street.
Vaulted living: the ceiling follows the roof over the living area, so the room feels bigger than the footprint says.
