Mission
Intertwine House Plans is a small catalog of houses drawn to be lived in. Behind it is sixteen years of designing custom homes and construction drawings, and the same questions on every plan: how you move from room to room, where the groceries come in, what a guest sees from the front door, where the family ends up on a Sunday afternoon. An efficient floor plan that answers those questions is what sets a good house apart, and it is what we spend our time on. A house can be built anywhere. The plan is what makes it a home.
About Angela
Angela Kamer, designer and drafter
Angela Kamer is a professional spatial designer who has spent her career in construction drafting and design. She has a degree in Construction Graphics Technology from Purdue University and studied interior architecture and spatial design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She worked for more than ten years inside a custom construction business before turning to stock plans of her own. She began her career in Charleston, South Carolina, and Charleston is still where she works today, which is why so many of her plans are elevated and detailed for flood and hurricane zones. Her reputation with builders and homeowners comes from the same place: the plans are drawn by someone who has seen them built.

House Plans
A layout for every stage of life
The catalog runs from a 576 square foot garage apartment to houses just under 3,700 square feet, one to six bedrooms, on pilings, piers, crawlspace or slab. Every plan can be modified: more or less square footage, a different foundation, a footprint trimmed to fit the lot, or the changes an architectural review board or HOA asks for. Quotes are free.
