The Magnolia Beach Hut CHP is the original Beach Hut drawn five feet wider. It keeps the 30 by 8 foot front porch, the vaulted living room, the grilling deck at the back and the piling foundation, and spreads the rooms across a 35 foot footprint with two full baths instead of two and a half, which gives every room a little more space to breathe.
All the living is on one floor: the primary suite with a walk-in closet and its own bath at one end, two more bedrooms and the second bath at the other. An elevator beside the stair runs from the ground level up to the living floor. Down at ground level there is an open room next to the two-car carport for beach gear, bikes, a game table or the overflow when everyone comes at once.
A full-width front porch: 30 feet by 8, room for rocking chairs at one end and a table at the other, and the first thing anyone sees.
A vaulted living room: the ceiling goes up with the roof, so a 1,547 square foot house does not feel like one.
A grilling deck at the back: off the living space, so the cook is still part of the evening.
Everything on one level, with an elevator up to it: the primary suite with a walk-in closet and private bath, two more bedrooms and a full bath, and no stairs once you are inside.
