The Wilbury 24x28 is the smallest footprint in our garage apartment plans, 24 feet by 28, and it still holds a whole apartment: a full kitchen, a living area, a bedroom with a walk-in closet, a full bath and a washer and dryer in the unit.
It is drawn for the tight lot, the backyard build and the property where every foot of ground matters. The two-car garage underneath stays a garage, for parking and storage, and the apartment above is a real place to live.
A full kitchen: a complete kitchen, so a tenant, a guest or a family member can live here on their own.
A bedroom with a walk-in closet: a separate bedroom with real closet space, over the garage.
Laundry in the unit: washer and dryer hookups inside the apartment, so nobody carries a basket across the yard.
