The Meyer is a 650 square foot apartment over a two-car garage with a vaulted living room and kitchen, a bedroom suite with a walk-in closet, and a 155 square foot loft above for a bed, a desk or the boxes.
A 144 square foot deck with the stair up gives the apartment its own front door, and a 308 square foot patio at the back has an outdoor sink and counter, so cooking and eating outside is built in. Rent it, put a parent in it, work from it or keep it for guests; the plan is the same.
A vaulted living room and kitchen: the ceiling opens up over the main room, which makes 650 square feet feel like more.
A 155 square foot loft: a stair from the living room leads to a loft for sleeping, working or storage, with a 6 foot 4 inch ceiling.
