The Cliffwood is a 640 square foot apartment over a 650 square foot two-car garage, drawn as a complete home: a kitchen with an island, a living room, a bedroom with a walk-in closet, a full bath, a pantry and a laundry of its own, all on one upper floor.
An exterior stair climbs to a small covered porch at the apartment door, so whoever lives here has a front door that is not the garage. Use it for rent, for a parent or a grown child, or for guests; the garage below keeps its two bays, behind a pair of 9 by 8 foot doors, for the main house.
A complete apartment: kitchen, living room, bedroom, bath, pantry and laundry hookups, so whoever lives here does not need anything from the main house.
Its own front door: an exterior stair and a 64 square foot covered porch at the top, apart from the garage.
