The Quinn Pilings is the Quinn lifted onto a piling foundation, so its clapboard exterior, steep metal roof and country rooms can stand on a flood zone or beachfront lot. A large screened porch, a fireplace in the living room and an oversized kitchen island make it as easy for a quiet evening as for a full house.
The primary suite sits apart from the other bedrooms, with a walk-in closet, a five-piece bath and an oversized walk-in shower. Ten-foot ceilings on both the lower and the first floor give every room some height, and the drive-under carport takes two cars or three with a side entry.
A large screened porch: the outdoor room you use most on the coast, screened so the evening is yours and not the mosquitoes'.
A fireplace in the living room: the living room is drawn around it, for the cool evenings the coast still gets.
